What is the Digital Nomad Visa?
Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (Visa de Nómada Digital) was introduced under the Startups Law in 2023. It allows non-EU nationals who work remotely for foreign companies — or run their own online businesses — to live legally in Spain for up to 3 years. You are not required to work for a Spanish employer, and if you spend fewer than 183 days per year in Spain, you are not a Spanish tax resident.
