How does it work?
Registering a sole proprietorship (preduzetnik) in Serbia establishes legal grounds for a 3-year temporary residence permit. It is the strongest pathway to Serbian citizenship and can be processed via power of attorney without being present in Serbia. Both standard and accelerated routes are available.
Requirements
What You'll Need
Valid Passport
Passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond the permit end date.
Business Plan / OKVED Selection
Basic description of your business activity and selection of the activity classification code (OKVED).
Accommodation in Serbia
Registered rental contract in Serbia for the residence permit application.
Health Insurance
Private health insurance valid in Serbia or enrolment in state insurance.
Clean Criminal Record
Clean certificate from your country of origin, translated into Serbian.
Tax Registration
The sole proprietorship must be registered with the Serbian tax authority: we manage this as part of the process.
